Free Fun Fridays This Summer
The following was submitted by State Rep. David Torrisi.
Once again this summer, the Highland Street Foundation will be offering Free Fun Fridays to Massachusetts residents and tourists.
State Rep. David Torrisi encourages his constituents to take advantage of this wonderful summer program to explore many of the museums and cultural institutions in Massachusetts. This year many new museums and institutions have signed on to the 2012 program, giving the public access to 50 of the best known (and unknown) treasures of the Bay State. Starting June 29, Free Fun Fridays invites Massachusetts residents and tourists to visit five designated cultural attractions across Massachusetts every Friday this summer with free admission, no registration or tickets are required.
“This is an incredible opportunity for all residents to enjoy the Commonwealth’s many treasures at absolutely no cost”, said Torrisi. ” Whether it's history, music, sports, arts, animals, Free Fun Friday has a great attraction for everyone.”
The venues participating in this year's program are a diverse collection of museums and attractions with a wide array of fun and interesting activities. Free Fun Fridays not only have something for everyone, but also gives everyone a chance to explore something that they may not know much about or would otherwise never get the chance to see.
