Places to Go Sledding in North Andover

The storm is done, now time for fun.

The winter storm has passed by North Andover, and it left a couple feet of light fluffy snow.

While that snow's here, why not let the kids (and the kids-at-heart) have some fun with it? We asked our readers where the best places to go sledding are, and here are a few suggestions.

If you know of other places, leave a comment and let us know!

1. Youth Center: There's a hill next to the Joseph N. Hermann Youth Center that makes for great sledding in a convenient location.

2. Half Mile Hill: Sitting prominently near the Stevens Estate, this hill offers dazzling views of Lake Cochichewick. Be careful driving and parking, as those roads are very narrow.

3. Drummond Park: This a local favorite for sledding, both because of the space and the convenience, located at Milk Street and Johnson Street.

4. Brooks School: At Brooks, there is lots of wide open space.

5. Ward Reservation: This 420-foot hill offers kids a thrill and views as far as Boston on a clear day.
