North Andover Woman Wins National Award

A North Andover woman has been nationally recognized for her work with animals.

Tracey Zysk, owner of Wiggles & Jiggles Pet Care in North Andover, Mass., was named the 2013 Pet Sitters International’s Platinum PAW award winner.

The Platinum PAW is given out annually to one professional pet sitter for promoting quality pet care through community events. But Zysk, a blogger at North Andover Patch, said she also enjoys educating pet owners about their furry companions in many ways.

“Being able to educate pet owners on how to properly care for their pets will help to improve the quality of life for these animals,” she said.

Zysk has been offering pet-sitting services for the North Andover community since 2001 and is actively involved in local events, including Smolak Dog Days, Sheep Shearing Festival and North Andover’s National Night Out event. She is also an active member with the North Andover Merchants Association and the North Andover Police Crimewatch Program.
