North Andover Winter Storm Center: Still Waiting, Lowered Expectations

Your local weather information hub.

Update 9:00 p.m.: Still barely a dusting of new snow here, although the freezing temperatures has created a lot of black ice. WBZ has adjusted its snowfall forecasts and has us closer to the 3 inches mark. And WHDH has moved us to 1-to-3 inches. And WCVB has knocked us down from 6-10 inches to 2-to5 inches. Average those out and it looks like we may miss out on any real accumulation.

As of 9 p.m., schools are still set to be open Wednesday.

Update 5:45 p.m.:
As the snow moves into the Merrimack Valley, it looks as if forecasts are mixed for North Andover. WBZ has moved us into the 3-6 inches area, WHDH has us at 5-8 inches. WCVB still has us at 6 to 10 inches.

From Mary F. Rafferty of the Executive Office of the Trial Court, "The Massachusetts Trial Court has canceled first-day Jurors for
Wednesday, January 22nd, in most counties statewide. Jurors are
still requested to appear in Berkshire County and Hampshire County."
