New Theater Location Coming to North Andover

ACT Theater Company received approval from the North Andover Planning Board.

ACT Theater Company received unanimous North Andover Planning Board approval on Tuesday for a special permit to renovate 1632 Osgood St., into a theater, reported The Eagle-Tribune

The building is behind the former Western Electric location along Route 125.

ACT was founded in 2008 by two stage performers. The goal is “to provide quality live theater to the Andovers and surrounding communities.”

ACT performed “The Sound of Music” last weekend and upcoming shows include “The Jungle Book” and “Pippin.” ACT is also holding auditions soon for “Steel Magnolias” and “Young Frankenstein.”
