North Andover Candidates’ Night on March 6^th
The League of Women Voters of Andover/North Andover is offering an opportunity for voter education and engagement prior to our upcoming town elections on March 26th.
Please join us on Wednesday, March 6^th at 7:00 PM in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room on the 2^nd floor of Town Hall, 120 Main Street, for the North Andover
Candidates’ Night.  This event provides residents with an opportunity to know more about where the candidates stand on various issues.

The single candidate for one open seat on the Board of
Selectmen is the incumbent, Rosemary Connolly Smedile. The two candidates for one open School Committee seat are Mark B. Mezzina and Zora Warren.  Incumbent, Mary Beth Soucy is running unopposed for the one open seat on the North Andover Housing Authority.              

You can engage in the election process by attending this event which is free and open to the public. All candidates have been invited to make opening statements and respond to questions.  Attendees can submit questions on cards at the onset of the event.  You can also e-mail questions in advance of the Candidates’ Night, or even during the event, if you are watching live at home.  Questions must apply to all candidates for a particular board and be of general interest.   The event’s moderator will be Stefani Traina, Andover resident and member of our LWV chapter.
