Three juveniles have been charged with trespassing and stealing fire extinguishers. At just before 7 p.m. Monday, police received a call that there was a group of youths in the woods behind a couple of buildings on Walker Road. Police also learned that at the East Mill Lofts on Waterstreet nearby, seven fire extinguishers had been removed and activated. Police arrested three of the juveniles for trespassing and larceny related to the fire extinguishers. A New Hampshire sex offender who works in North Andover was arrested Wednesday for failing to make himself known to the town. Officer Brendan Gallagher received a tip that there was an unregistered sex offender working at Napoli Trucking on Old Clark Road. Gallagher went there and arrested James Beers, 34, of 23 Greenough Road Apt. 1, Plaistow, N.H., for failing to register. Beers was released later that evening at 11:15 p.m. Police did not know the details of Beers' sex offense, and because he has not registered, Beers is not listed on Massachusetts registries online.
