Let's Fill Turtle Lane Maple Farm's Truck for Hurricane Sandy Victims
After a trip to Belle Harbor NY to help with Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts last weekend, Paul Boulanger and Kathy Gallagher owners of Turtle Lane Maple Farm of North Andover, knew immediately one trip was not nearly enough.
Paul and Kathy have decided to go back down again this weekend.
If you have any items you would like to donate to the rescue efforts Paul and Kathy have offered to bring the items down for you. They are going to be stationed at St Francis De Sales Church Rescue Center, which is in Belle Harbor in Rockaway Beach in Queens, NY (one of the hardest hit areas).
Some of the items needed are the following:
Cleanup related items:
Hydrogen Peroxide (for mold)
Spray bottles (to spray HP solution)
Bleach
sponges
mops
dust pans and brushes
brooms
scrub brushes
heavy garbage bags
hand sanitizer
buckets
shovels
dust masks
baby wipes
Plastic gas cans
Hammers
Vinegar
Flashlights
Cold water laundry detergent
Sump pumps
batteries
rubber gloves
Clothing related items (think warm and comfortable):

I think I put the donations on the porch that was indicated but the house didn't look like the one in the picture. I went to 25 Turtle Lane but there was no truck. It said you could donate till Friday night so I hope that I got the correct house.

Yes the truck left a 5PM. Many great donations and the truck was packed ! Paul and Kathy had to get on the road as they have a long ride to New York. Your donation will be used for another organization that will have a truck going down. Thanks Again...
