The arctic air that has settled into the region is not the only winter weather news this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for eastern Massachusetts including North Andover Monday night into Tuesday. Snow is expected to stop Tuesday afternoon.

Heaviest snow will be along the coastal communities and a little inland. North Andover is right near the line, so the track of the storm will determine whether we see a few inches or nearly a foot inches of accumulation.

WBZ's Barry Burbank is predicting 6-12 inches in our area.

Then on Wednesday, temperatures are expected to be the coldest we've seen in two years , with highs in the low teens.
