Selectmen voted unanimously Monday night to lift the winter parking ban.
Winter parking used to be in effect from Dec. 1 through March 31. But last year, the Board of Selectmen voted to change it so that it ended Feb. 28.
This winter has seen more snow than last year -- a snowstorm just about every week -- so selectmen opted to extend winter parking regulations.
The vote to lift the parking ban is conditional, however. If there is another snowstorm, Town Manager Andrew Maylor has the authority to reinstate the parking ban, and a reverse 911 will be issued.
