We asked, you answered and we received dozens of entries to our Pet Halloween Costume Contest. That left us with a tall task - having to choose the finalists so you can vote for your favorite! Our editors spent hours going through all the entries and selected their 10 favorites.

Voting opens today, so scroll through our photos, pick your choice to win and tell us which in the comments section by indicating the picture number and the pet’s name. One vote per person please.

Voting will end at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5.

The winning submission will receive a $50 gift card plus bragging rights.

Here we go again...another sham of a contest where the entrant gets all of his/her friends to vote for their animals. Just for that I am going to vote for number 1...NOT number 4. Isn't that the same dog from the last contest (with the open vehicle and the kids in the picture)???

Callie is my dog. She was never in another contest with a picture of an open vehicle and kids in the picture. I don't even have kids. It must have been a similar looking dog. Sorry you think the contest is a sham! I shared the link on Facebook and any friends and family members of mine are welcome to vote. Anyone else is welcome to do the same. It's just a fun little local contest. I doubt anyone takes it very seriously!
