The turkeys were back again today. They are quite an entertaining couple.

This male turkey is a riot. You've seen nothing till you've seen him get all up in someone's bumper gobbling away and flaring his feathers. Late afternoons on Great Pond or on the rotary... he is defending his and his lady's territory. And for the few of you I've seen get all aggravated about it-- relax and enjoy the absurdity!

I agree with Liz! The male turkey is hilarious! Spreading his feathers as to say " What... what you gonna do now" My son and I were cracking up. It was a great way to start the day. They have been comical to watch all week. When they are actually at the cross walk this is priceless like two little old bitties trying to cross the road. So what if we are tied up for a moment or two. It does us all good to get a giggle and slow down a bit.
