Three Pigs Cause Commotion on Winter Street
The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Have you heard the story about the Three Little Pigs? Well North Andover has one about three large pigs. Minus the angry wolf and the straw house.
Amid the frustration over communbication outages, police were treated to a bit of humor when a resident on Winter Street reported that three "very large" pigs were asleep in the middle of that road.
Eventually the pigs were rounded up and returned to their home. And neighboring communities may have gotten a nice laugh, as the telphone lines were being shared with several police departments dude to the Verizon outages.
Did you happen to get a photo of these pigs napping? Send it to Bryan.McGonigle@patch.com.
