Monday, July 18

6:34 a.m. A caller reported seeing two pairs of suspicious sneakers on the beach at Stevens Pond.

12:29 p.m. A caller reported that he gave a check to a tree company to do work, and the company never showed up.

2:50 p.m. An employee at Walgreens reported that a girl had left the store with a bag full of items and drove away. Police searched the area but found nothing.

8:13 p.m. An employee at Kohl's reported a shoplifter. Anaura Sampaplo, 18, of 149 Berkley St., Lawrence, was charged with larceny.
