The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Saturday, Sept. 29

At 1:46 a.m., a caller on Cyress Terrace reported hearing a man and woman arguing. Leo Foroohar, 49, of 68 Longwood Ave., North Andover, was arrested for assault and battery on a household member.

At 10:55 a.m., a caller on Moody Street reported that someone had broken into her home the night before and stole her TV.

Sunday, Sept. 30

At 1:40 a.m., Kohl's reported a shoplifter. Thomas McCarthy, 51, of 8710 Catbriar Lane, Orlando, Fla., was arrested for shoplifting.

At 5 p.m., an employee at Pier 1 Imports reported that someone stole items and fled into Lawrence.
