The National Weather Service is forecasting a little snow in our immediate future.

Snow showers are expected to begin Monday afternoon and continue through the evening.

No need to get the snow blowers, though. North Andover is only expected to get about an inch of accumulation.

The hazard will likely be in the form of ice. The snow is expected to mix with sleet Monday night into Tuesday morning, combined with freezing temperatures in the low teens, making a slippery morning commute Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the snow and sleet are expected to change over to rain by the afternoon as temperatures climb to the low 40s.
