Shoplifters and Bat Invasions

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Monday, July 23

At 7:04 a.m., a caller on Commonwealth Avenue reported that she had a bat in her home.

At 7:56 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Street. There were no injuries reported.

At 12:12 p.m., a manager at Burger King reported an ongoing problem with a male making a mess in the bathroom there.

At 6:22 p.m., Market Basket reported a shoplifter who was yelling and screaming. Loc Van Dang, 36, of 44 Hamlett St., Lawrence, was arrested for shoplifting.

At 6:49 p.m., Stop & Shop reported a shoplifter. Christopher Hennessy, 24, of 1160 Salem St., North Andover, was arrested for shoplifting.

Tuesday, July 24

At 12:27 a.m., police received a request by state police to assist at an airport runway for a state police helicopter searching for suspects in a Haverhill shooting.

At 9:29 a.m., a caller reported seeing a young child walking at Appleton and Dale streets with no shoes on. Police did not find the child.

At 9:38 p.m.m a caller on Bear Hill Road reported a bat in their house.

At 11:46 p.m., a caller on Edgelawn Avenue reported a bat in their house.
