Rolling Ridge to Host Tea Sunday

The following was submitted by Rolling Ridge Retreat & Conference Center.

Rolling Ridge, the European-styled estate on Great Pond Road and the shore of Lake Cochichewick, will hold an open house and tea on Sunday, September 23.

An elegant tea in the cobblestone courtyard with sandwiches, cream scones, and homemade chocolates will be served from 2 pm to 4 pm.  Reservations are recommended. $18 for the full tea. Guitar music will be provided by David Cymbala.  There is plenty of free parking and in case of rain, the tea will be held in the Lakeside Art Gallery Dining Room.

At 4 pm, a brief celebration will be held to recognize the one-year Anniversary of the Trail Easement and Conservation Restriction with the Town of North Andover. A dedication of a new period-piece bench for the courtyard will be part of the celebration.

Three architects will then share some history of the fountains, courtyard and buildings and plans for renovations.  Kyle Zick, Maureen O’Brien and Iric Rex know about the award-winning landscape of Fletcher Steele and the Georgian revival of the mansion.

Tours of the landscape and building will be available throughout the day.

For more information or to make reservations for tea, call Rolling Ridge, 978-682-8815 or visit www.rollingridge.org. Rolling Ridge is a not for profit hospitality center.
