Police Called on Dancing Teens

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Sunday, Dec. 2

At 6:26 p.m., a caller on Bear Hill Road reported that teenage boys had knocked on his door and then danced on his front lawn. Police did not find the teen dancers.

At 9:05 p.m., a caller on Gibson Court reported that her neighbor was smoking, but she wasn't sure what the neighbor was smoking. It turned out to be a cigarette.

Monday, Dec. 3

At 9:05 a.m., Olympia Sports reported a break-in overnight.

At 2:27 p.m., a caller on Autran Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle with a driver who was taking pictures of his wife.

At 6:10 p.m., a caller on Autran Avenue reported a loose dog, a big tan dog, possibly a bullmastiff. Police did not find the dog.

Really? Teens dancing on your lawn? Aren't there worse things they could be doing? Have a laugh and go back to what you were doing. Be happy they weren't doing anything malicious.

Really? Calling the cops because your neighbor is smoking? Why did the cops even investigate? Here's a novel idea. Call the cops when you actually know a crime has been committed or a car accident.
