UPDATE: Oakridge Village Stabbing Not Suspected As Foul Play

Emergency crews have flown the victim away by helicopter for treatment.

A person was stabbed at Oakridge Village on Friday. The wound was serious enough that the victim has been flown by helicopter to a hospital.

The person is reported to have suffered an 8-inch stab wound to the chest or abdomen, but that could not immediately be confirmed.

The victim was transported to Boston via medflight from a nearby soccer field.

Police tell Patch they are still investigating the incident. We will post more as soon as we know it.

UPDATE: District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett's office says that after investigation, it has been determined the stabbing was not foul play.
