New York Trio Arrested For Counterfeit Cash

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Three New York residents were arrested Friday for allegedly trying to use counterfeit money in the Eaglewood Plaza.

An employee of one of the stores called police at around 6:30 p.m. and told them there were people passing fake $20 bills there.

Police searched and eventually found the suspects and pulled them over nearby.

Moises Francisco, 22, of Wingsdale, N.Y.; Patrick Zare, 23, of 11243 Colfax St., Queens, N.Y.; and Demi Palao, 19, of 11038 55th Ave., New York, N.Y., were charged with passing counterfeit notes, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.
