Missing Woman and Fake Prescription

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Sunday, July 22

At 1:06 a.m., Andover Police requested North Andover Police try to contact a woman reported missing that night. She had last been seen with a North Andover resident, and police went to that homne but she was not there. The woman is still reportedly missing.

At 6:00p.m., a caller on Stevens Street reported seeing a family at Weir Hill having a barbecue and swimming in the lake. Police sent them on their way.

At 7:47 p.m., an employee at CVS on Turnpike Street reported a female trying to pass a fraudulent prescription. Cristal Nieves, 23, of 68 Essex St., Lowell, was arrested for uttering a false prescription. She also had two warrants for assault and battery.

At 8:26 p.m., a caller on Massachusetts Avenue reported that she and her father had been walking their dog and three youths agitated the dog and then became confrontational when her father said something to them. Police went there, but the youths were gone.
