Merrimack College Hockey Team Helps Boy With Leukemia

Mike Collins had a very successful first season at Merrimack College. Collins grew up in the Parkway and played hockey for Catholic Memorial.

Whatever the stats turn out to be this hockey season, Merrimack College is the best, according to one family.
The Merrimack College Hockey Team has been helping a child with leukemia, the Eagle-Tribune reports.
"Timmy Burke, 12, has been in a two-year battle with leukemia and Merrimack 'drafted' him through a program called 'Team Impact,' which formally matches up kids with life-threatening diseases with college teams," the Eagle-Tribune reports.
