Meet the Godfather, the Soprano, and Frank Sinatra at Culpeppers
These pizzas have some legendary names and are accompanied by 27 draft beers at Jimmy's Culpeppers.
Jimmy’s Culpeppers in North Andover is the only spot in town where you can see the Godfather, the Soprano, and even Robert De Niro or Frank Sinatra all in one place.
The Godfather himself is Jimmy Tringale, owner of Culpeppers for 14 years. The other Godfather is a popular pizza topped with sausage and roasted red peppers available for $14.99.
The Soprano also has its fair share of fans.
“The most popular is the Soprano, which is a meat lover’s pizza,” Tringale told Patch.
For $15.99 this pie combines pepperoni, meatballs, and sausage.
The Robert De Niro pizza combines many of the previously mentioned ingredients. Sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, peppers, and onions top this hit.
The Frank Sinatra has the same toppings along with mushrooms. These pies cost $15.99 and $18.99 respectively.
Pizza is certainly a draw at Culpeppers, but it is certainly not the only option.
You can bring a friend and enjoy a PuPu Platter for $16.99 which includes baby back ribs, steak teriyaki on a stick, coconut shrimp, buffalo wings, barbecue wings, and chicken fingers.
For a taste of Italy, go for Culpepper’s Chicken and Broccoli for $14.99. The dish features chicken breast and broccoli florets sautéed in a white wine scampi sauce.
Come in around lunch time and you can treat yourself to one of many specialty sandwiches such as The Larry Bird. Named after the legendary Boston baller, the Bird consists of a crispy chicken cutlet topped with buffalo sauce, blue cheese dressing, lettuce and tomato ($8.49).
With 27 beers on tap, there is sure to be something for everyone in your party.
“We did very well this year with our watermelon ale out of San Francisco,” Tringale said. “We’ve banged out five barrels since June 23.”
Beer enthusiasts can rejoice thanks to Culpeppers’ Mug Club which has many perks.
“You get your own mug for the year,” said Jimmy. “It’s our second year doing it and every person renewed.”
As a member, you get a 10% discount when you dine at Culpeppers.
“You also get a t-shirt and a complimentary meal on your birthday,” Tringale added.
