There are spots of blood in the parking lot at 105 Massachusetts Ave. after a man was apparently stabbed several times.

According to reports, the man has been taken away for medical treatment for partial finger amputation and significant blood loss.

Patch Editor Bryan McGonigle is at the scene. He says it is the parking lot next to Brothers Machinery and Desmond Landscaping. He reports spots of blood in the parking lot and clothing left behind.

Brothers Machine and Desmond Landscape were not reported to have been connected to the incident in any way.

UPDATE 6 p.m.: Police Lt. Charles Gray said the victim was flown to a Boston hospital and his condition is unknown. Police are questioning someone in custody but are not releasing that person's name. The stabbing is still under investigation.
