Man Flown to Boston Suffering From Stab Wound

Investigation found no sign of foul play.

A man was flown from a soccer field to a Boston hospital Friday after sustaining a stab wound, but authorities say there was no foul play involved.

At just after 11 a.m. Friday, police received multiple calls about a stabbing at the Oakridge Village condominiums. The victim reportedly suffered an 8-inch stab wound in or near his chest.

He was medflighted to a Boston hospital from the soccer field on Sharpners Pon Road shortly afterward.

After investigation by the Massachusetts State Police and District Attorney Jonath Blodgett's office, it was determined by Blodgett's office that there was no foul play involved. A stabbing without foul play typically means accidental on self-inflicted.

My condolences to his family
This troubled soul at least had the decency not to harm others; directly, prior to himself.
May God have mercy on his soul and all others who suffer similarly.
