For the second year in a row, U.S. News & World Report has given The Meadows at Edgewood Retirement Commuity the highest rating possible on its "Best Nursing Homes" list.
The Best Nursing Homes 2013 list -- aimed at helping families find quality care for aging family members -- rates bout 16,000 nursing homes nationwide based on extensive data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Categories for measurement include health inspections, level of nurse staffing and quality of care.
The Meadows at Edgewood received five stars, the highest possible rating. Fewer than one-out-of-five facilities received five stars, according to U.S. News & World Report.
