The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

At 12:06 p.m., a caller reported that two horses were loose in the area of Lost Pond and Wintergreen. The horses were eventually returned home.

At 2:45 p.m., Kohl's reported that a female shoplifter had gone into Market Basket. Kohl's management said they would declare the woman a trespasser.

At 5:37 p.m., Kohl's reported another female shoplifter. Taciane Lacreda, 30, of 421 South Union St., Lawrence, was arrested for shoplifting.

At 5:55 p.m., Market Basket reported that a man put a shopping cart in his truck and drove away with it.
