Attorney John Smolak of the law firm of Smolak & Vaughan LLP of North Andover has recently been appointed by Aaron Gornstein, Undersecretary for Housing and Community Development of the Commonwealth’s Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to the Homeownership Advisory Group.
Comprising a group of public and private housing professionals, the Homeownership Advisory Group was formed to assist and advise Undersecretary Gornstein and the DHCD on sustainable homeownership policies for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Given the changes in homeownership markets around the state and challenges facing first-time homebuyers, the Task Force has been asked with examining current homeownership policies and initiatives and to determine new potential strategies going forward with the goal of housing creation at all income levels.

I came in late from recess, what does "sustainable homeownership policies" mean? Wasn't past government policies with the goal of housing creation at all income levels the very reason that we're in this great economic recession? Do we ever learn from our failures? Are we that oblivious to the obvious? Just another political hack job to interfere with the free market to add costs to home ownership and certain tax increases. Shared Sacrifice is Looterspeak.

I'd like to ask the Task Force to stop whatever its doing and return the money to the taxpayers.

Mike. As NIKE says .. "Just Do It". Everyone should ask what this stealth task force is up to. This can't be good.
