Larcenies Over the Weekend
The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Saturday, Jan. 12
At 10:48 a.m., Butcher Boy reported that they had video of someone stealing metal racks from behind the building.
At 5:06 p.m., someone walked into the station and reported larceny from the Oakridge Village clubhouse.
Sunday, Jan. 13
At 2:55 p.m., Market Basket reported a shoplifter. Joshua Newman, 31, of 45 Ashland Ave., Methuen, was arrested for shoplifting.
At 4:18 p.m., there was a grill fire at a home on Alcott Way, caused by grease build-up inside the grill. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
