Walsh only had to throw the ball three times. He completed all three of his passes for 28 yards, but this game was won on the ground.

had 28 carries for 166 yards in what ended up being a clinic on offensive line play.  Ianonne had three touchdowns to go with his 166 rushing yards in a career day for the former Patch Athlete of the Week.

Walsh’s night was easy as his three passes were accompanied by three rushes, two going for touchdowns.

Halfway through the third quarter, with the score 34-0, Rafferty opted to play his backups. Walsh’s younger brother Casey came in to run the offense.

The second team failed to score in the game but Rafferty was still impressed with their effort. “Very happy with them,” Rafferty said.  “I thought they showed good spirit,” he said.

North Andover vs. Revere is not a rivalry that will be developing into anything epic. The two teams faced each other for the first time last night and will not likely face each other any time soon with North Andover’s move to the MVC imminent.

“We’re not going on past experience at all,” Rafferty said of the preparation for this game. “You want to be crisp,” he continued. His Knights were crisper than the autumn wind last night.
