Happy Columbus Day
Kids have the day off, and there's plenty to do on this nice autumn day.
It's Columbus Day, so school is out and the kids will be looking for something to do. Adults could probably use some outdoor time, too. Foliage is beginning. You can take a stroll along Lake Cochichewick and check out the leaves.
And why not head to Smolak Farms? Smolak Farms is having hayrides and campfires. and they have a selection of antique apples (apples you can't find anywhere else in the state) so you can take some home and make a pie.
And the North Andover Soccer Association is having Day 3 of its Columbus Day Tournament. Here is the schedule for today's games. You can go cheer on North Andover's young athletes and get some fresh air at the same time.
