Freezing? Warm Up With Local Chili
Don't turn up the heat this winter, just buy some chili!
Are you frozen yet?
Temperatures are dropping and ice is hardening in North Andover. We are amidst the grimmest and coldest times of the winter.
There is a chance of snow in the upcoming days, and forecasts have our low temperatures in the 20s throughout the upcoming week.
With a solid three or four months before spring, we need to thaw!
Luckily, North Andover is home to some fantastic restaurants that make one of winter’s epic comfort foods, chili. Check out these three spots in North Andover to warm up, chill out, and savor some hot, steamy chili.
We have to start with the town’s authority on all things soup. Boston Chowda tops our list because of its three different types of chili offered.
First of is the Paul Revere Chili which you can have hot and ready right when you arrive. Patch recommends you enjoy this winter warmer in a bread bowl for $5.99. You can also go for a small, medium, or large for $3.29, $4.49, or $5.69. Bring home a nice, warm quart for the whole family; it will only cost you $10.49.
You can bring home two other types of chili to warm up in your microwave. First is P.J.’s Chili and second is the Southwestern 3 Been Chili. Both cost only $9.99 for a quart and $29.99 for a gallon.
If you’d like to enjoy some chili while sitting at the bar, before your dinner, or even as lunch, relax and spend some time at Jaime’s Restaurant on High Street.
If you haven’t enjoyed the ambience, gourmet meals, and the friendly staff here, what are you waiting for?
The Homemade Chili is on the menu for $4.99 in a cup and $6.99 in a crock. This hearty chili is topped with jalapenos, Monterey Jack cheddar cheese, tortilla chips, and fresh chives.
If you order the Nachos ($9.99) at Jaime’s, add some top quality chili on top for only $2.00.
Chili, the Loft, and an ice cold winter are all synonymous with each other.
The Loft’s Steak House Chili costs $4.50 for a cup and $5.99 for a bowl. It makes a perfect appetizer or even a main course if served up with another appetizer such as the Potato Skins. Hint: Dipping other food items into your chili is highly recommended.
Chili also appears on the Loft’s lunch menu. You can grab lunch from 11:30am through 4:30pm Monday through Saturday.
Grab the Steak House Chili with your choice of one of the following three sandwiches: Tuna Salad, Egg Salad, or Ham and Swiss. Sandwiches are served with your choice of French fries or chips, more items to enhance your chili eating experience.
