It's winter sports playoff season, and North Andover has reason to be proud. Four teams are headed to playoffs.
Both the boys and girls basketball team as well as girls gymnastics and alpine ski team make the first round of the MIAA playoffs.
Here's the run-down:
- The Boys Basketball team will play a to-be-determined opponent on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in North Andover.
- The Girls Basketball team will play against Tewksbury on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. in North Andover.
- The Girls Gymnastics team will have their meet on Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
- Members of the Alpine Ski team will race on Feb. 26 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Berkshire East Ski Center.

Congratulations to those teams. Also, congratulations to the three North Andover High School girls that play on the Division 1 Co-Op ice hockey team with Masco. This team finished the regular season in fifth place and earning a bye in the first round of the tournament! Best of Luck to all North Andover High Students in the State Tournament. We hope all teams can add a year to their sports banner in the high school gym!!
