Five Things That Made Our Week: Nov. 27 to Dec. 3
A look back at a week of headlines in North Andover.
November took off and December rushed in. Here are five things that made headlines this past week.
Santa Came to Town: North Andover held its annual Santa Parade last weekend, with temperatures near 70 degrees. The nice weather and Christmas spirit brough massive crowds to Main Street. Even the dogs loved it. The Senior Center also had their Holiday Fair that day.
Pet Gifts: We showed you places in town to buy gifts for your pets. Make sure you don't forget them this holiday season.
Toys Wanted: The Fire Department is collecting toys for Massachusetts children. Drop off toys at either fire station and make a child's Christmas better.
Armed Robbery: Silver Dry Cleaners was robbed at knifepoint this week. Another business was robbed at knifepoint in Andover, and just before the one in North Andover a man attempted to rob a business in North Reading. Police think the crimes may be related.
Seeking Gift Cards: A local family would like you to donate gift cards to the Massachusetts General Hospital Pediatric Oncology Unit, to show their appreciation for the care they received at that hospital. Contact Tracy Watson for more information.
