The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

At 10:27 a.m., Marie Leahy, 53, of 20 Colby Court, was arrested for distribution of a class C substance.

At 12:01 p.m., a caller on Cilbert Street reported that a man was acting strangely and staring at the sun.

At 1:56 p.m., a caller on Forest St., reported his neighbor's sliding staging had malfunctioned and he was stuck on the second floor. The man was helped down.

At 4:13 p.m., a caller reported that he was locked in the bathroom at Stevens Memorial Library.
