Drug Bust and Lawrence Sewage

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Monday, July 9
At 9:58 a.m., a caller on Middlesex Street reported that someone had attempted to break into a business there.
At 11:45 a.m., police stopped a car on Turnpike Street and arrested Alexander Pouliot, 24, of 170 Wallis Road, Rye, N.H., for operating after suspension and possession of a class E substance.
At 7:19 p.m., Market Basket reported a male in the parking lot asking people for money.
At 7:36 p.m., an officer noticed sewage leaking from a manhole at Turnpike Street and Waverly Road. The manhole was technically in Lawrence, so Lawrence was notified.
