Center for Performing Arts Performance Team: Dancing to Stardom

The girls' hard work and impressive performance record make them this week's Whiz Kid.

 

Each week, North Andover Patch profiles individual kids, youth groups, teens and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments.

Whiz Kid’s Name: Center for the Peforming Arts Performance Team

Whiz Kid’s Age: 27 girls, ages 12 to 18

Whiz Kid’s School: Center for the Performing Arts

Whiz Kid’s Accomplishments: They've been invited to perform at the Capital One Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Boston Celtic's pre-game, AIM Invitational at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Dance Rochester Showcase in New Hampshire and many local church and civic events.

Whiz Kid’s Key to Awesomeness: According to Beth Hancock, "Hard work, talent, focus and commitment - dancers train up to 20 hours per week and are all honors students."

This is a great group of girls, and they deserve all the recognition they receive! Stop by the studio any day to see them at work, helping with the little ones, or taking a class! I'm very proud of all of them!
