Whiz Kid’s Name: Sam Mountain
Whiz Kid’s Age: 10 (It's his birthday today!)
Whiz Kid’s School: The Hurd School, part of the SEEM Collaborative, in Melrose.
Whiz Kid’s Accomplishments: Sam participated in the MS Walk in Marblehead to raise money for a cure for MS, because his aunt has the disease. He canvased his neighborhood and collected $200 in donations. Sam also helps his wheelchair-bound grandfather a lot. He and his dad pick him "PaPa" up every Saturday morning and bring him to breakfast at Joe's Landing.
Whiz Kid’s Key to Awesomeness: According to his mom, Mary Kenny, Sam likes to be part of everything. He's a Cub Scout for St. Michael's Pack 82, is part of the North Andover Booster Club Wrestling Team and attends an out-of-district therapeutic school for children with ADHD and Autism. And today is Sam's Birthday!
