Appliance in Street and Drugs at Aplin

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Friday, June 15

At 12:35 p.m., police received a request from the Haverhill Police Department with a hit-and-run at 1600 Osgood St. Brandon Roberge, 17, of 8 Read St., Lowell, was arrested for disturbing the peace, reckless operation, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and operating without a license.

At 5:23 p.m., a caller on Palomino Drive reported that her son received death threats via XBox.

Saturday, June 16

At 1:52 a.m., a caller on Kingston Street reported that two youths damaged some plants in a yard and fled toward Cotuit Street. Police did not find the youths.

At 10:34 a.m., a caller on Raleigh Tavern Lane reported that her son had taken off on his bike. The boy returned home shortly afterward.

At 11:59 a.m., a caller reported seeing a man in gold Ford Explorer who appeared to be pointing a handgun at a child in the backseat near the North Andover Mall. Police put out an alert about the vehicle and called the Salem, N.H., Police Department to alert them as well.

At 3:31 p.m., a caller reported a domestic dispute on Main Street and said a woman had thrown an air conditioner in the road. It was a verbal dispute, and police advised the people involved about their restraining order rights

At 5:42 p.m., CVS reported that a man had fallen asleep on the photo counter. Richard Perez Jr., of 143 Pleasant St., North Andover, was arrested on trial court warrants.

Sunday, June 17

At 2:29 p.m., Police were at Aplin Playground with two subjects. Dylan Neault, 17, of 7 Clarendon St., North Andover, was arrested for possession of pot with intent to distribute.

At 8:29 p.m., a caller reported seeing a Jeep parked at Aplin Playground and thought it may be drug-related. Police spoke to the people in the Jeep and sent them on their way.

I take my kids to the Aplin park often. If you see a group of kids and there's a silver older Mercedes sedan there, there's drugs. I've had to leave 3 times in the past months. They would roll up right there on the swings.

The cars parked arn't the problem , its the kids that live in the nieborhood . The drugs there are all from people that walk to the park .

The car recently found with drugs was a tan Jeep Cherokee .

Its not the kids that live there, its the kids that walk their after school. You all are ignorant, finger pointing adults. I personally know the person that owns that mercedes and defaming someone on the internet isn't the answer. You adults should be ashamed of yourself for defaming young kids on the internet where they're defensless instead of talking to them face to face. People like you are what caused the holocaust
