A Dead Turkey and a Noisy Squirrel
The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Wednesday, Nov. 16
- At 9:33 a.m., a Cabot Road resident reported a motor vehicle was keyed over the past two nights. Police took a report.
- At 12:20 p.m., police responded to Turnpike Street after someone found a bag possibly containing drugs in a parking lot. Police recovered the bag.
- At 4:28 p.m., an Osgood Street resident reported identity fraud.
Thursday, Nov. 17
- At 8:29 a.m., police received a burglary alarm from Stevens Memorial Library. Police found an open rear door, but did not find any other problem.
- At 9:30 a.m., an Osgood Street resident reported identity theft.
- At 10:18 a.m., police summonsed a 40-year-old Groveland woman for unlawfully obtaining a controlled substance.
- At 10:20 a.m., police arrested Carlos Alfredo Hercules-Pineda, 28, 130 Boylston St., Malden, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle without a license. Police made the arrest at Barker Street and Osgood Street.
- At 12:04 p.m., a Bay State Road resident called police after hearing noises from her basement. Police found the problem was a squirrel. They placed it back into the wild.
- At 1:14 p.m., a Kohl’s employee reported someone tagged the back of the building and Dumpsters.
- At 3:21 p.m., a Farnum Street resident called police after finding a dead turkey in his front yard. The homeowner disposed of the turkey in the woods.
- At 7:14 p.m., police received a call about people going in and out of a vacant Marblehead Street home. Police found the people were from a cleaning company.
