FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

• KIDS’ NIGHT OUT

Where/When: March 18, 6:30-9 p.m., Andover/North Andover YMCA, 165 Haverhill St., Andover.

Why Go: Give the kids what they want and take some time for yourself. While you run errands, exercise or just relax, the YMCA will keep your children busy and active. This includes fun games in the mat room, light snack and then off to the pool for a swim. Register at the Welcome Center. For ages 6-12. Program also runs on April 1 and April 15.

Pricing: $7 for YMCA members; $12 non-members.

Where/When:  March 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and March 20 at 2 p.m., The Collins Center for the Performing Arts at Andover High School, 80 Shawsheen Road, Andover.

Why Go:  The Merrimack Junior Theatre presents Annie. Bring the whole family and enjoy a wonderful performance by local children.

Pricing: $8 per person

• STORY TIME IN SIGN LANGUAGE

Where/When: Saturday, March 19, 1-3 p.m., Stevens Memorial Library, 345 Main St., North Andover.

Why Go:  Listen to popular children’s stories and learn a little sign language too. Quota International of Andover presents a story time narrated in sign language. For children ages 4-10 with parents.

• MOVIES AT THE LIBRARY

Where/When: Wednesdays at 10 a.m., Stevens Memorial Library, 345 Main St.

Why Go: Stop by the library and take in a movie, for free. Movie schedules are available at the reference desk or by calling 978-688-9505 x42016.

• YMCA PRIME TIME FAMILY NIGHT

Where/When: March 18, 6-7:30 p.m. Methuen YMCA, 129 Haverhill St., Methuen.

Why Go:  Family nights are a great way to have some fun and spend some quality time with your family and meet others in the YMCA community. Each month features a new theme in which families will enjoy participating in sports, games and activities together. Dinner is also provided.

Pricing: $10 per family, non-members.
